Criss Angel to dice with death again in new Mindfreak stunts

Illusionist Criss Angel will produce five of the greatest stunts imaginable in magic for his fifth season of A&E’s Mindfreak. Criss will juggle his schedule of Cirque du Soleil’s Believe at the Luxor to pull off the new season of TV shows.

Vegas DeLuxe has learned that one of the five mind-blowing tricks will be a large-scale levitation of dozens of people, and it will be filmed here in Las Vegas!

But it’s one of the other stunts that has even his inner circle concerned. Criss plans to be set in cement shoes and then shackled in chains before being thrown into a deep body of water! Last year, he promised his mother that he wouldn’t attempt any more death-defying stunts, but I’m told that he believes he has to push the limits again.

His fifth season for A&E will include five one-hour specials. Each episode will feature several illusions, and then each show will end with one grand, never-before-seen illusion to live up to the Mindfreak reputation.

No other details have yet been released, but I’m assured that Vegas DeLuxe will have them first and fast when everything is set in place.
