Rumors run rampant that Carmen Electra is joining Crazy Horse Paris
By Robin Leach
Less than 24 hours after Planet Hollywood executives confirmed that Playboy beauty Holly Madison will go topless in their hit burlesque cabaret Peepshow starting June 22, Vegas Deluxe has learned that rumors are buzzing that Carmen Electra will join Crazy Horse Paris at the MGM Grand for a July guest run.
“It’s a definite counterpunch,” one of my reliable sources told me. “Expect an official announcement early in the week.”

Carmen, coincidentally, made a guest appearance on this season’s Dancing With the Stars in a burlesque-themed dance number shortly after Holly and her dance partner Dmitry Chaplin had been eliminated.
Still to be resolved with both stars is whether they will be truly topless for their shows. “You’re going to have to wait for opening night to see. We are still discussing it,” said Holly coyly when we chatted this afternoon. Vegas DeLuxe will have the full interview with The Girls Next Door blonde beauty right here Monday.

The most recent guest star at Crazy Horse Paris at MGM was last year with striptease queen Dita Von Teese. Carmen met with the Crazy Horse Paris folks when she was here in Las Vegas three weeks ago to help kick off the new pool party season at MGM’s Wet Republic.

“The striptease battle on the Strip is really heating up now,” I was told.
