When the stars of the new film The Hangover shot their location scenes in and near Caesars Palace, they promised to return for the press promotion. They also wanted to do something special for our beloved local charity Opportunity Village, and our contributing photographer Erik Kabik was on hand to capture the action.

The Hangover Cast and Opportunity Village

True to their word, the cast led by director Todd Phillips organized a celebrity poker tournament to benefit Opportunity Village. Taking part were actress Heather Graham and her boyfriend Yaniz Raz and actors Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and a bearded Zach Galifianakis, who played with his dad, Harry, and came in third place.

The tournament winner was Aaron Wong, who helped present the $10,000 check to Linda Smith, Opportunity Village’s director.

The Hangover Trailer - from YouTube.com

The wild comedy, in theaters June 5, tells the story of a drunken bachelor boys’ night out in Las Vegas two days before the wedding. When the lads wake up in their Caesars Palace suite, they discover that the groom is missing and deal with other hilarious problems involving an abandoned baby, a quickie marriage and a tiger loose in their bathroom. Even Mike Tyson scores an unexpected knockout in the film, as you can see in the trailer on YouTube:
