Rapper Nelly showed up just past midnight at Tao in The Venetian with a small entourage and a craving for Asian food. The chefs reopened the closed kitchen and whipped up kung pao chicken and sea bass satay, which they washed down with the three P’s: Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and Patron! Then Nelly drove the Tao-Lavo Cadillac Esplanade golf cart over to the adjoining Palazzo for a table on the Lavo dance floor. DJ Vice played “Vegas Baby,” the new hit by Nelly, Usher and Jermaine Dupri, and the crowd went wild when he sang the line, “We stumble outta Tao in the a.m. hurtin,’ ” Then he hopped on the mic and performed it live!

Comedians Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong and Panic at the Disco guitarist Ryan Ross, accompanied by girlfriend Kate Thompson, watched The Beatles Love by Cirque du Soleil at The Mirage. Afterwards, they all went backstage to pose for photos with the cast. Cheech & Chong told them it was the second time they’d seen the show, adding it’s their favorite of the Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil productions. Las Vegas native Ryan told the cast that Cirque had inspired their touring stage sets.

Actor, comedian and rapper Andy Milonakis and actor Simon Rex, who performs as Dirty Nasty, enjoyed dinner at Strip House in Planet Hollywood. Actor Chazz Palminteri and rapper Lil’ Jon dined at separate tables before everybody headed over to Prive in the casino resort. Lil’ Jon took over the DJ booth just before midnight, and the King of Krunk played hip hop hits until 2 a.m. when he retired to his VIP table for Patron shots and posed for fan photos. Andy and Dirty Nasty performed until 3 a.m. … Comedian George Wallace enjoyed the sloppy Joe sliders for lunch at Society Cafe in Steve Wynn’s Encore after playing host to TV sportscaster Bob Costas, who attended George’s show at the Flamingo. Cacee Cobb and longtime boyfriend Donald Faison of Scrubs celebrated the holiday weekend with friends over dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT steakhouse in the Palazzo.

Singer Toni Braxton and her sister Tamar along with Nelly and Big Boi joined Good Charlotte brothers Joel and Benji Madden during their DJ set at the Bank in the Bellagio, and our contributing photographer Denise Truscello captured photos of all of them. … Among the celebrities partying at Tao Beach were Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings, America’s Next Top Model Season 7 winner CariDee English enjoying mojitos, America Idol host Ryan Seacrest and international DJ Erick Morillo, who masterminded the wheels of steel until long after the sun came up.

Legendary genius guitarist Carlos Santana has arrived in Las Vegas in advance of his two-year residency at The Rogue Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel tomorrow and relaxed over a long, lazy breakfast there in Mr. Lucky’s. … Despite fighting each other in UFC 98, George Roop and Dave Kaplan both showed up at Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Planet Hollywood for their after-fight party. George defeated Dave in a split decision. … NFL star Simeon Rice partied at one end of The M Resort Daydream pool with his friends, while at the other end was the hunky cast of Chippendales from The Rio.

Bernard Berrian and Bobby Wade of the Minnesota Vikings and Desean Jackson of the Philadelphia Eagles caught Mel B and Kelly Monaco’s sexy Peepshow at Planet Hollywood. … Star athletes took over Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel, with the guest list including Willis McGahee of the Baltimore Ravens, Javon Walker of the Oakland Raiders, Shawne Merriman of the San Diego Chargers, Jermaine O’Neal of the Miami Heat, Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets and UFC strongmen Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell. New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey also was there but fell ill from dehydration and was wheeled out on a stretcher in the afternoon. … “Hollywood Madame” Heidi Fleiss had lunch at Wolfgang Puck’s Chinois in Caesars Palace, and when I stopped by Rao’s in Caesars, I spotted The Sopranos actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler with boyfriend Jerry Ferrara of Entourage and artist Peter Max at separate tables.
