It’s Strip birthdays for Jamie Kennedy, Kelly Monaco and Mindy Kaling

Playing “the name is the same” game, Jennifer Love Hewitt decided that The Beatles Love by Cirque du Soleil at The Mirage was the perfect show to take her boyfriend, Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy, to on their Las Vegas vacation. The actress surprised her beau with the trip as a surprise 39th birthday gift, along with a Vespa! I’m told she even made him breakfast in bed before flying here! After watching Love, where they sipped margaritas, they went backstage to meet the cast and signed autographs and posed for photos. Although it was Jamie’s first visit to the show, Jennifer has now seen it three times!

Peepshow and General Hospital star Kelly Monaco had a nearly six-hour birthday celebration relaxing in a VIP cabana at George Maloof’s Palms Pool & Bungalows. The Dancing With the Stars Season 1 champion arrived pre-noon with 15 friends, several from Peepshow. It was a Red Bull and Ketel One afternoon, and members of The N9NE Group presented her with a pyramid of cupcakes from the Cupcakery. One of the Peepshow singers got on the mic for a “Happy Birthday” sing-along in the pool party crowd. They called it a day at 5 p.m. when it was time to hightail it back to Planet Hollywood for the evening’s performance!

Actress Mindy Kaling (The Office’s Kelly Kapoor) brought four college girlfriends to Lavo at the Palazzo for a celebration of her upcoming 30th birthday. Mindy was so overwhelmed by the huge gold birthday cake, she had it sliced up so everybody else in the Italian restaurant could share in it. Slices were served to actor Chazz Palminteri, New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey and actor Larenz Tate of FX’s Rescue Me all dining at separate tables. Indiana Pacers guard Danny Granger missed out because he was already upstairs in the nightclub enjoying Dom Perignon rose champagne with friends.
