This is the night when Jay Leno says a final goodnight after 17 years behind his desk on The Tonight Show, where he has ruled the ratings over David Letterman the past decade. The NBC late-night host says farewell and will be joined by one solo guest. Conan O’Brien, who becomes his time slot successor, will sit for the hour to put any Hollywood rumors to rest that the two are feuding.

We’ve lost Jay on late nights, but I’m assured that his regular visits to the Terry Fator Theater in The Mirage for late-night weekend shows will continue. In fact, he’ll be here June 19-20!

Jay isn’t going far because his new nightly 10 p.m. show debuts on the Peacock Network this September.
