Photo Gallery: Celebrities pack Jet and the Bank for nonstop partying and fun
By Robin Leach
It's been a busy assignment keeping track of the celebrities at Jet and the Bank because there have been so many of them the past few days. Top world DJ Tiesto even hit both to twist the wheels of steel with his energetic sets and stopped by sister Bare topless pool to rev that up, too!
Our contributing photographers Denise Truscello and Erik Kabik were on hand for Tiesto’s stops. Among the crowd that danced until past 3 a.m. was Onch, in a black and white checkered outfit, from MTV’s Paris Hilton’s My New BFF.
When Tiesto moved out of the Bank, in moved Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, who had twin brother Benji and UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste join him. The Maddens wound up switching on and off behind the turntables. Actor, model and singer Tyrese was there partying with singer Toni Braxton, who was dancing for the second time in a week with sister Tamar. Before the night was over, rappers Nelly and Big Boi arrived to revel in the fun.
At Jet, it was a nonstop whirl of hip-hop stars grabbing the mic for impromptu performances. David Rush sang “Shooting Star”; rapper Sean Kingston from Jamaica and Miami sang “Beautiful Girl,” “911” and “Me Love”; hip-hop recording artist Mike Jones hosted a celebration for his new album The Voice and treated guests to a special live performance of “Cuddy Buddy” and “I Gotta be Next to You.” Dozens of lovely ladies crammed the stage, and he planted a kiss on the cheeks of several adoring fans. Among the sports stars watching the action in the packed club were Terrell Owens of the Buffalo Bills and T.O.’s former teammates, Dallas Cowboys Patrick Crayton and Bradie James.
Mike Jones shows the ladies some love while performing at Jet.
Sexy singer Toni and sister Tamar dined at next door Fix on lobster mash and Very Adult Fried Mac ’n’ Cheese while sipping Veuve Clicquot before they hit the nightclub. Meantime, at sister Revolution lounge in The Mirage, Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings kicked back with 10 friends enjoying Patron Premium, while actor comedian Eddie Griffin was at a separate VIP table. Nearby in Stack was Shawne Merriman of the San Diego Charges feasting on organic chicken, lobster tacos and thinly slice sirloin cooked on hot rocks right at the table.
Singer Toni Braxton hugs Tyrese Gibson during a night out at the Bank.
Finally, The Light Group, who owns and operates all these hotspots, welcomed The Ultimate Fighter stars Frank Lester and Richie Whitson to Brand Steakhouse in the Monte Carlo, where the lads ordered Kobe pizza, lobster rolls and the steak for six! Growing men have to eat big!
