Did Susan Boyle’s dream of winning Britain’s Got Talent come true?

First it was Adam Lambert on American Idol last week. Now add Britain’s Got Talent contestant and Internet sensation Susan Boyle to the list.
At 2 p.m. Pacific Time (10 p.m. British time), TV viewer voting results were announced, and frontrunner and judges' favorite Susan finished runner-up to dance troupe Diversity. Susan curtsied to the audience and judges and was a gracious runner-up: “The best people won. ... Guys, I wish you all the best.”
Susan Boyle reprises "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables on the finale of Britain's Got Talent in May.

She received a standing ovation from judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan, with Piers breaking from protocol and declaring that he hoped she would win.
Adam Lambert wowed the country on American Idol. Could he have the same effect on Las Vegas?
Last week, American Idol frontrunner and judges’ favorite Adam finished second to Kris Allen. Simon is a judge on Idol and Talent, and he and fellow judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson had all predicted that Adam would win Season 8 of the singing competition.
Vegas DeLuxe reported last weekend that Susan had received an offer from Donny Osmond to perform on the Strip and that she had accepted the offer -- click HERE for that story.
And in case ITV is too slow for you, here is Susan’s finale performance and the judges' critique via YouTube:
