Photo Gallery: Big Kenny supports Three Square with concert

Country singer Big Kenny is another musical star supporting the work of our Three Square Food Bank, and at his concert at the Strip’s new Hard Rock Cafe, fans brought 2,500 pounds of nonperishable foods, enough to provide 2,000 meals for the needy in our Las Vegas community.

It was Big Kenny’s Las Vegas debut of music from his first solo CD Quiet Times of a Rock ’n’ Roll Farm Boy. Country station KWNR sponsored the promotion and handed out free tickets in exchange for donated food items. Our contributing photographer Scott Harrison was front and center for our photo gallery.

Big Kenny is one half of country duo Big & Rich. When Big Kenny is out solo minus John Rich, he’s opened for everybody from Kenny Chesney to Tim McGraw. His debut, self-penned single “Long After I’m Gone” from Quiet Times was released three weeks ago. Named Songwriter of the Year in 2005, Big Kenny’s also written for such artists as Tim, Gretchen Wilson and Jason Aldean.
