Is it between our Las Vegas favorites for last spot in DWTS finals?

After the nail-biting eliminations, tensions and injuries, it’s come down to four celebrities facing the judges in the semifinals: Tonight, it’s the saddest moment of all as one couple gets sent home after coming all this way and then failing to make the final cut.
The Final Four: our Flamingo headliner Donny Osmond and his partner Kym Johnson, our Las Vegas regular Kelly Osbourne with Louis Van Amstel, former Las Vegas resident Derek Hough, the professional dancer teamed with model Joanna Krupa, who is the cover girl on the December issue of Playboy, and last but not least singer Mya with Dmitry Chaplin.
SPOILER ALERT: Please do not read any further if you want to get the full surprise and drama of watching the West Coast tape-delayed broadcast of ABC’s top-rated Dancing With the Stars. But come back after the show to compare notes with us!
First up in Round 1 was Donny and Kym with the tango, which received surprisingly low scores. Donny’s excuse was that Marie watched rehearsals, so they couldn’t get sexy and sensual enough. Derek and Joanna were the second couple to dance. Their Viennese waltz to Jeff Buckley’s “Hallelujah” wowed the audience, who thought they’d get a perfect 10 from each judge. That wasn’t quite the case. Kelly was thrown by the death of her pet doggie during rehearsals but still managed a respectable score for the samba with partner Louis and huge audience reaction -- maybe out of sympathy? Mya and Dmitry’s waltz was near perfection, and they look more and more like next week’s winners of the disco ball mirror trophy.
Dmitry Chaplin and Mya do the foxtrot on Dancing With the Stars.
In Round 2, it’s Donny and Kym up first again, this time dancing the samba. He’s wild, free, uninhibited and dances with total abandon, even doing the splits -- or at least coming as close as a 51-year-old grandfather should! Derek and Joanna tackle the cha-cha to Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” and it keeps them neck-and-neck with Mya. Kelly and Louis shine with their quickstep, and Donny hasn’t closed the gap with her. The routine totally rocked and tied her for the first time all season to Joanna with her highest score yet. Mya is last to dance again, and Dmitry and she salsa their way to a perfect score, proving they could easily win it all.
In Round 3, Donny and Kym tackle the jitterbug, and as he promised in our story earlier today -- click HERE for the post -- it was their piece de resistance, and he gave it everything he could to propel them higher. But it was still only equal to Kelly’s previous number. The salsa is the hottest dance of the show, with Derek popping out of his shirt into Joanna’s arms. Kelly gets to do the cha cha with Louis as the penultimate dance of the night, and lo and behold she repeats her score from the previous round’s judging. This could prove a surprise disaster for Donny! The final dance of the night is the cha cha from Mya and Dmitry.
Here’s how the judges scored the three dances that each couple had to perform:
Round 1: Donny, tango: 21. Joanna, Viennese waltz: 27. Kelly, rumba: 24. Mya, waltz: 28. Round 2: Donny, samba: 26. Joanna, cha cha: 27. Kelly, quickstep: 27. Mya, salsa: 30. Round 3: Donny, jitterbug: 27. Joanna, salsa: 27. Kelly, cha cha: 27. Mya, cha cha: 29.

Here are the totals for the night: Mya in the top slot with 87, Joanna is second with 81, Kelly sits in third with 78, and Donny trails with just 74.
Now we wait for the viewer voting to see whether they overturn the judges’ votes or agree with them. That is anybody’s guess. But going by these initial numbers, it’s a complete surprise that Donny is sitting at the bottom of the leaderboard and not Kelly, as we expected and predicted.
We’ll have tonight’s dance floor action photos here at Vegas DeLuxe tomorrow, as rehearsals for tomorrow night’s tension-filled results show near. On tomorrow’s results show that will determine who doesn’t make it into the three celebrity finals showdown, there’s plenty of music to soothe the troubled brow.
Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys headlines the night with her TV debut performance of her new single “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart.” Leona Lewis will perform a single from her new album Echo, which drops tomorrow. Finally, celebrating their 50th anniversary, the legendary Bee Gees will perform their hit “You Should Be Dancing.” It coincides with their new hits collection Ultimate Bee Gees in stores this week.

Professional dancers Cheryl Burke, Tony Dovolani and Chelsie Hightower will accompany the Bee Gees, and Season 8 favorite Melissa Rycroft returns after a party weekend with fiance Tye Strickland in Las Vegas that you will see in our photo galleries here tomorrow.
So now it’s in the hands of the viewers as they decide whether Donny or Kelly are sent packing. There’s no doubt that Mya and Joanna will be in next week’s finals, so it all comes down to one of our two Las Vegas favorites, and probably not the one we expected!
