Our Merry Mayor of Mirth Oscar Goodman and Golden Nugget President and CEO Tilman Fertitta cut the ribbon at the Golden Nugget’s new Rush Tower grand opening on Monday.

Miss Nevada USA 2010 Julianna Erdesz and Miss Nevada USA 2009 Georgina Vaughan were on hand for the festivities, along with City Councilman Gary Reese, Tony Tarantino (Quentin Tarantino’s father), Golden Nugget headliner impressionist Gordie Brown, Fantasy star Angelica Bridges and the Fantasy Girls, Palms mogul George Maloof, Playboy Playmate Laura Croft and the Aussie hunks of Thunder From Down Under at Excalibur.

Our contributing photographer Erik Kabik captured these photos for Vegas DeLuxe, and our Senior Editor John Katsilometes was on the scene to give us the Rush Tower lowdown, including asking Mayor Oscar once again if he’s making a run for governor of Nevada. Julianna was spotted hours after the grand opening ended with her mom in one of Rush Tower’s new boutiques.
