Fire-breathing, tongue-twirling KISS legend Gene Simmons showed no signs yesterday of his 59 years the day after the group’s triumphant concert in The Pearl at the Palms.
The former math teacher from Queens turned KISS into a conglomerate of Wall Street proportions -- in fact, Gene and I share the same New York broker, and whenever we meet, our first subject of conversation is always the market and our portfolios! Who would have guessed a rocker’s interest ran so financial?
Gene was the VIP guest of honor at the opening of the new Art of Music in the Monte Carlo yesterday. It is owner Keith Veltre’s fourth store on the Strip.
Our contributing photographer Tom Donoghue was there to capture the fun of Dr. Love and the God of Thunder for our Vegas DeLuxe photo gallery. The previous night, Tom shot the KISS concert in The Pearl, and we’ve assembled his full photo shoot here.
Gene signed his limited edition Axe Guitar and other KISS memorabilia -- and his appearance brought out the stars. On hand to join in the fun were Entourage star Rex Lee and gorgeous Fantasy headliner and pop singer Angelica Bridges and her stunning Luxor dancers Natasha, Tracey and Sonya.
We posted a story, photo gallery and YouTube video of the Saturday night KISS concert yesterday right here at Vegas DeLuxe.
