Dennis Hopper cancels all travel to fight prostate cancer

Our thoughts and prayers this morning are with legendary actor Dennis Hopper, chairman of our CineVegas Film Festival, who has canceled all of his travel plans to battle prostate cancer. The diagnosis was confirmed early today for the 73-year-old screen star, artist and photographer. As expected, demand for Garth Brooks tickets at the Wynn was unprecedented. More than 40,000 frantic ticket buyers were online at any one time this morning. Starting at 7 a.m., there were more than 2 million page views to the Garth Brooks ticket area on the Wynn Web site.
