Photo Galleries: Ashlee, Christina Milian celebrate their birthdays

Forget Fox’s The Simpsons! This was the real-life version, with all the family on hand, for Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s 25th birthday that included Fall Out Boy rocker husband Pete Wentz. Our contributing photographers Erik Kabik and Scott Harrison captured the fun on the red carpet for our first photo gallery, along with Ethan Miller of Getty Images, who shot the inside party.

The all-Simpson entourage for the celebration at Wet Republic in MGM Grand included sister Jessica, dad Joe, mom Tina and a few close friends. The singer and Melrose Place star arrived in style wearing a black romper, fedora and of course leopard wedges from her big sister’s self-titled shoe line. Jessica wore a shimmering, see-through black cover-up and black heels.

Ashlee dished about the stunning Chanel shoes Pete gave her for her birthday and gushed about how lucky she is to have such a wonderful family, husband and son. She and the family officially kicked off the celebration inside one of Wet Republic’s bungalows when the gorgeous redhead was presented with a three-tier cake topped with cupcakes. Everyone in the bungalow gathered around the starlet to sing “Happy Birthday.”

During the party, Ashlee got on the mic and requested the DJ play Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and asked all the bikini-clad females to do their version of the dance. She then did her own adaptation for everyone to see as they cheered. Ashlee was so into the energy of her party, she even jumped down into a crowd of female fans and danced with them. Pete, with a security guard, wasn’t too far behind and stayed nearby.

Christina Milian

Elsewhere in MGM, newlywed Christina Milian celebrated her 28th birthday with family and friends at Tabu Ultra Lounge. Christina was glowing when she arrived on the red carpet in a stunning green dress and silver accessories. Everyone’s attention was focused on her as she proudly showed off her baby bump. Up until then, the singer and actress was rumored to be pregnant, but she confirmed on the red carpet that she and husband The Dream are expecting.

It was about only a month ago that Christina and The Dream wed here in a surprise ceremony, and now 30 days later, she was back for the birthday and baby news!

Inside Tabu, Christina stole the show a second time when she was presented a chocolate frosted marble cake for her birthday. She had a smile on her face as she spent most of the night dancing with her girlfriends and singing to the tracks spun by DJ Eric Forbes.

Next night it was time to turn the tables, and Christina celebrated her mother’s birthday by attending Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere at Treasure Island. Still glowing and now in a floor-length black dress, Christina enjoyed a cranberry juice and popcorn during the show. The Dream stayed home, as Christina and her mom and sister on their girls’ night out went backstage to meet the cast after the show.
