Former Peepshow headliner Mel B, aka Scary Spice, turned up on last night’s Dancing With the Stars as part of the celebrity rehearsal video, and she wants to be on next week’s show one more time.

Now two-time professional champion Julianne Hough, who has gone country and embarked on an acting career, wants a comeback, too. She’s revealed that her pro dancer brother Derek Hough, who won Season 7 with Brooke Burke, and DWTS professional Mark Ballas, the reining pro champ who won last season with Shawn Johnson, will sing with their band this season, and Julianne plans to dance while they perform.

DWTS: Season 9, Week 3

Julianne says the two guys danced for her when she performed her single, and she’d like to turn the tables. No word yet from ABC if Mel or Julianne will return, but insiders say that producers are attempting to make schedules work.

We’ve got the overnight dance floor action photos, and still unanswered is just what went on between Flamingo headliner Donny Osmond and judge Bruno Tonioli. Did they do a man kiss when they tumbled down behind the judges’ desk and then lay across it? Donny laughed: “It was just a moment -- but quite a moment. I probably won’t be allowed back in Utah after that! Marie was too shocked to complete her Twitter message about it from her front-row vantage point. Also unanswered is the effect the contest had on former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. He disobeyed the producers and doctors who wanted him to quit because of double fractures in both of his feet. Tom soldiered on, but we won’t know what further damage he did until tonight’s live results show.

It was a night of surprises with Kelly Osbourne revealing that last week, she had wanted to quit and only stayed after her partner Louis Van Amstel persuaded her otherwise. Our hometown hero Chuck Liddell with Anna Trebunskaya is tied in third place -- from the bottom -- so it looks as if our Las Vegas contingent will be safe from execution this evening.

If viewers go along with the judges, it will be an elimination battle between the lowest scorers of the night: Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova for their samba, with only 14 points, and Tom and partner Cheryl Burke, who scratched out 15 points for their samba.

As reported here on Vegas DeLuxe yesterday, Queen Latifah will be tonight’s guest performer, and then it will come down to one execution between the three couples in the spotlight at the end of the show.

We will post our spoiler alert story of who gets eliminated shortly after the live East Coast broadcast, and we’ll also have those photos tomorrow.
