Slowly, as Dancing With the Stars approaches its fourth episode next Monday, the weakest celebrity dancers are heading for the exit door via elimination or injury, and after next week’s show, our Las Vegas participants could be on the firing line.
Last night, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay called it quits because of fractures in both feet that he’d wrecked further by disobeying producers and medical orders not to dance on Monday night. He’ll be back for the November finale if his feet have repaired to guest dance the Texas Two Step. Entourage actress Debi Mazar was voted off, ending her partnership with pro dancer and our Le Reve choreographer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Our Las Vegas contingent of Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson, Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya and Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel were all declared safe, so we’ll continue following them when they trip the light fantastic again on Monday. Chuck and Kelly could wind up in the danger zone with Michael Irvin, who I think will be kicked off.
A week later, it could be Chuck or Kelly. For now, Flamingo headliner Donny looks set to go all the way to the finals, but there he will face tough competition against Mya and Dmitry Chaplin, Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo and Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower as my predictions! Originally, I thought Aaron Carter would be there, too, but it seems as if he’s slipping -- last night he was one of the four on the firing line.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who was a fan favorite contestant last season, returned to last night’s show and predicted that the final dance-off will come down to Donny and Mya for the disco-ball trophy.
Queen Latifah and dance crew Jabbawockeez entertained last night. We should know by this week if dancer and country singer Julianne Hough of our Las Vegas Academy and ex-Peepshow headliner Mel B will be on the next shows.
