Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington is the mastermind of Dead by Sunrise. The band is made up of the combined talents of Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck of Orgy, Brandon Belsky and Elias Andra of Julien-K , Anthony “Fu” Valcic and, of course, Chester!

Our contributing photographer Erik Kabik was on hand when Dead by Sunrise performed its first full Las Vegas show at Carey Hart’s Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Hotel.

Easy Rider: The Ride Back

Kristen Renton, Sheree J. Wilson, Thomas Blankenship, Phil Pitzer, Vince Morella and Newall Alexander were among the VIPs enjoying the Easy Rider: The Ride Back sneak peek at the Palms. The movie screening took place at the Brenden Theatres, followed by an after-party barbecue at Iron Chef Kerry Simon’s restaurant in Palms Place.

Staind’s Aaron Lewis

As Vegas Deluxe readers know from stories in the past week about the tattoo industry, it’s growing in leaps and bounds, and artistic license knows no limits. Aaron Lewis, the frontman of Staind, was tattooed by guest tattoo artist B.J. Betts at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Hart & Huntington Tattoo Co. Aaron had an American flag tattooed on the inside of his left arm and the words “Don’t Tread On Me” tattooed across his throat.
