Filming is underway on Holly Madison’s Planet Holly

The Girls Next Door and Peepshow beauty Holly Madison is into her second day of filming her new reality TV show Planet Holly today. Day 1 got off to a great start yesterday when our merry mayor of mirth, Oscar Goodman, became her co-star in his City Hall office. He returns tomorrow for a second cameo.

I had earlier filmed a segment with Holly at Koi in Planet Hollywood right after she’d shot scenes with zany comic Carrot Top at his Luxor showroom. Holly and her assistant Angel -- not to be confused with a former boyfriend of the same name -- are out to increase the fun quotient of Las Vegas, and their antics land them downtown at City Hall.

Meantime, Holly tells me that she is back to making her nightly entrance onto the Planet Hollywood stage by falling down from the ceiling on a silk. “I love that adventure every night,” she said.

The producers and crew who shot The Girls Next Door with her former beau Hugh Hefner are onboard for Planet Holly, which probably means it, too, will have a five-year run. Hef’s Season 5 of The Girls Next Door premiered this week with a two-part episode set here in Sin City.

I’ll let you know airdates for Planet Holly on E! Entertainment as soon as the network sets the program schedule.
