Sports book boss Johnny Avello has shaken up the standings in advance of tonight’s new Top Chef: Las Vegas episode on Bravo. Johnny now has Kevin Gillespie as the favorite after his anointing as the culinary king last week. That sent brothers and frontrunners Bryan and Michael Voltaggio down the field, and now Robin Leventhal sits on the firing line and may have to pack her knives and go home.
Johnny, who is the director of Race and Sports Book operations at the Wynn, posted his new odds for us: Kevin, who opened at 8/1, is now a 2/1 favorite, with Robin, who started out at 28/1, now 50/1 and facing the meat cleaver. The others are Jennifer Carroll, who opened at 20/1, is now 5/2; Michael Voltaggio (11/1) is now 3/1; brother Bryan (15/1) is now 5/1; Michael Isabella (25/1) is now 12/1; Laurine Wickett (14/1) is now 20/1; Eli Kirshtein (22/1) is now 25/1; and Ash Fulk (35/1) is now 30/1.
Johnny has been uncannily accurate with his predictions, but as always we must remind that his odds are for entertainment purposes and not to be used for betting.
