Pop superstar Justin Timberlake and Alfonso Ribeiro (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) joined friends last night for dinner at Nobu in the Hard Rock Hotel. After sushi and sashimi, the guys were spotted playing blackjack and table games on the casino floor before visiting Carey Hart’s Wasted Space for the Juliette Lewis concert.

MLB player Jason Giambi gave a warm-welcome handshake to Justin at the rock lounge, where the group stayed until the wee hours this morning. Justin is in town for his annual golf and concert fundraiser for Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Star surveillance

L.A. Lakers superstars Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom led their NBA champion team into LAX at the Luxor last night to unwind before tonight’s pre-season game against the Sacramento Kings at Thomas & Mack Center. Lamar’s new bride Khloe Kardashian was nowhere in sight, sparking rumors about their recent marriage and the continuing discussions about a pre-nup before there’s a real wedding. I’m as baffled as you might be from reading that, but the vows were shot as part of her reality TV series, and apparently it still needs to be made official. Meantime, J.T. dropped by as a surprise, along with Chazz Palminteri and Takeo Spikes. Other Lakers in tow included Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, Luke Walton, Jordan Farmar, Derek Fisher, Ron Artest and D.J. Mbenga. They spread out over LAX’s VIP area, with Kobe at one end and Lamar at the other. It was a guys’ night out, but Kobe brought along his sisters Sharia and Shayla for dancing. … Chazz enjoyed listening to the deejay at Blush in the Wynn from the outdoor patio since the weather isn’t too cold yet. Meantime, Sal Masekela of E!’s Daily 10 held court on the newly installed dance floor. … Poker pro and 11-time WSOP winner Phil Hellmuth dined on pasta, garlic bread and Caesars salad at Lavo in the Palazzo. … Actress and singer Juliette Lewis enjoyed an early morning breakfast at Mr. Lucky’s in the Hard Rock Hotel after her Wasted Space show last night. Click HERE for our photo gallery of Juliette posted earlier today.

Tonight’s tips

An extraordinary evening of entertainment that’s so large, I must highlight it as a special ROYAL ROBIN RUNDOWN:

First, though, this afternoon, singer Nick Lachey will make an appearance at our Three Square food bank as part of his Winnit.com Everybody Wins Tour. Nick is hitting 18 cities in 11 days to hand out prizes for the online reverse auction company, and he insisted that he helped promote hunger awareness at each stop. Las Vegas is the 15th stop on the tour.

*Kobe and Lamar lead their Lakers onto the court at Thomas & Mack for their debut pre-season game against the rival Kings. Members of the Maloof family -- George, Gavin and Joe -- who own the Kings, will be courtside front row with their team.

*Chris Cornell is the debut entertainer after 20 rock musicians smash guitars at the opening of the new, 42,000-square-foot Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip. Our new location then becomes the flagship showcase of the empire that stretches around the world. The memorabilia, from Madonna to John Lennon to Bob Dylan to The Killers, is extensive, and the interactive technology built into the Rock wall allows guests to check into any of the 157 Hard Rock memorabilia museums in 52 countries around the globe.

*Zach Sciacca is known as “The Godfather of Mash-Ups” and is better known as DJ Z-Trip. He becomes the new resident mix-master at Rain in the Palms, signing on to take the spot held by the late DJ AM. He was voted America’s Best DJ, and today he unveils his plans for the weekly Friday Revolution Parties for the People that start tomorrow. I can tell you he’s already signed Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas and deejays Jazzy Jeff, Skribble and Vice as his upcoming guests. While I’m grilling Garth Brooks about his new residency at the Wynn, my friend nightlife queen Xania Woodman will have a chat with Z-Trip, which we’ll link to when she posts her report. Meantime, at Moon in the Palms, Red Bull presents a head-to-head beat battle featuring De La Soul and producers Just Blaze and Alchemist.

*For 40 years, Engelbert Humperdinck has reigned as the King of Romance, dodging room keys wrapped in panties while selling millions of records and accumulating gold and platinum albums. His latest is Legacy of Love, appropriately, and he’ll charm hearts “After the Lovin” tonight through Sunday night at The Orleans showroom.

*Motorcycle stuntman and tattoo artist Carey Hart scores again with his Wasted Space: He’s booked Fountains of Wayne.

*Comedian Pauly Shore hosts the first Toga Party at Tao in The Venetian, with guests encouraged to wear white sheet outfits for free brews in the beer garden.

*Please support the fundraiser for nightlife king Tony Verdugo, who is fighting for his life and in desperate need of a kidney transplant. He was struck with severe E.coli poisoning recently that shut down his kidneys. Our nightlife denizens are throwing an auction with a party hosted by celebrity guest deejays at Cherry in Red Rock Resort. For more information, go to Click SaveTonyVerdugo.com.

Tomorrow’s teases

It’s another huge concert and party weekend in Las Vegas. We’ll take a look at Justin Timberlake’s charity concert with Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, Snoop Dogg and other music stars set for Mandalay Bay, while Bob Dylan makes a rare visit to the Hard Rock Hotel. Then Kim Kardashian will tell us if the romance with Reggie Bush is back on full time when she returns to the Strip for her birthday celebration at Tao, with Sean Kingston headlining at Pure in Caesars Palace.
