Gorgeous Kim Kardashian’s lavish 29th birthday festivities continued at Tao nightclub at The Venetian early this morning -- and over an earlier dinner at Tao, she told me that New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush and she are “back on” and proudly celebrating the reunion.
Said Kim: “Robin, we got back together. It is so much better now. This will be the year for us. We are reunited. We have cleared up the difficulties that were getting the worst of us. We know now how to make it work.
“Splitting up like that for a little while actually helped because we realized we missed each other too much to be apart. The second time around is definitely better. We are completely happy. We will get engaged!”
Naturally, I asked if she would get the ring for her actual birthday this coming Wednesday. “No,” the glowing and radiant beauty laughed, “but it is coming. He knows the ring I’d like. We’ve looked at it together, and he knows what he’s going to do, so you will see it happen over the next year before my 30th.”
Kim, wearing a dazzling black and silver metallic Brian Lichtenberg mini-dress and YSL shoes, was with her mom Kris Jenner and very pregnant sister Kourtney, plus some of her other family, friends and business associates in a private dining room at Tao. Don’t be surprised if she’ll soon be announcing new product lines for a home shopping channel because the cable executives were celebrating with the family.
Upon arrival in Las Vegas yesterday, the Kardashians and their entourage checked into the 8,000-square-foot, four-bedroom Chairman Suite, complete with every amenity imaginable, including 27 televisions, a private gym, a sauna, multiple Jacuzzis, a karaoke/media room, a salon and a massage suite. Kim promptly proclaimed she could live in the suite and called Reggie to tell him all about her amazing accommodations.
After a room service lunch in the suite, the girls hit The Shoppes at The Palazzo, heading to Barney’s, then to Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and vintage boutique Annie Creamcheese. While the ladies shopped, Kim’s brother Robert Kardashian Jr. and Scott Disick, Kourtney’s boyfriend, enjoyed the weather at Tao Beach.
Songstress Ciara and MTV VJ La La Vazquez arrived just in time to walk the red carpet with Kourtney, Kris and Kim. After posing with mom-to-be Kourtney, who is due in December, Kim let everyone know how excited she is to become an aunt, while Kourtney kept mum on possible names for her baby boy. While on the red carpet, Kim even tweeted to her followers how much she loved her birthday present, the new T-Mobile Motorola CLIQ.

As fans crowded around to catch a glimpse, the group made their way to the private dining room at Tao. My spywitness reported: “Scott Disick, socialite Brittny Gastineau and family friend Jonathan Cheban were among the guests who gathered for the celebration. At dinner, Kim and Ciara chatted about Kim’s upcoming fragrance launch, while Kourtney and Brittny were secretively talking about the surprises in store for all in the club. Kim finished dinner with Tao’s Giant Fortune Cookie, and all the guests compared fortunes and made suggestions on what Kim’s birthday wish should be.
“After dinner, the large group (minus Kourtney, who headed back to the Chairman Suite at The Venetian to rest) took command over two sky boxes in the nightclub. As DJ Reach announced the birthday girl’s arrival, hundreds of fans screamed from below and the entire packed club joined in a chant of ‘Kim! Kim! Kim!’ She got on the microphone, telling the crowd there was no better place to celebrate a birthday than Tao Las Vegas at The Venetian and asked them to help kick off the last year of her 20s with a great night.
“The birthday girl danced the night away, whipping the throngs of fans below into a frenzy. Even mom Kris could be seen displaying impressive moves. Of course, DJ Reach played Ciara’s track ‘Goodies’ and gave her a shout-out to the delight of the club goers. The crowd in the nightclub cheered and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ as a birthday cake appeared and Kim blew out the candles and made her wish.”
Additionally, E! Entertainment cameras from Kim’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians were filming. “It was the best birthday present I could get,” Kim added. “We won for Best Reality Series two days ago at the Reality Awards show. That was the best. I couldn’t ask for any more gifts next week.”
Our leading lens lady Denise Truscello was right there for the inside nightclub photos this morning, and contributing photographer Erik Kabik covered the red carpet arrivals.

Jason Strauss, Tao’s managing partner, told me, “The response to Kim coming here to celebrate her birthday has been phenomenal. She is the leading pop culture figure of today. We had over 60,000 new unique visitors to our Web site within the first 48 hours when we announced she was coming to Tao. I’ve never seen that much excitement in the four years we have been open. That was new visitors to Tao, not just the regulars who have gone online before. Incredible!”
Kim slid into my booth beside me and added: “I am so happy. I am so blessed. Everything is going beautifully, and I am so happy Reggie and I got through the storm and became stronger from it.” When she visited Las Vegas a few weeks back for the opening of Pink’s Hot Dogs at Planet Hollywood, she had told me the romance was kaput and blamed conflicting work schedules.
Days later, her stepdad and my old pal Bruce Jenner told me: “Don’t be so fast. They care for each other so much they’ll be back together again. It’s not a permanent split.”
Sure enough as he predicted, and Kim summed up: “We got back together for Khloe’s wedding to Lamar (Odom of the L.A. Lakers). He’d hoped to be with us tonight, but he hurt his shin in the Lakers-Sacramento game here in Vegas on Thursday night. Khloe has been helping look after him and make him comfortable. She’ll be here before the end of the night but discovered her driver license had expired, so she had to go back to their home to get her passport. (However, as of 3 a.m., Khloe hadn’t made it to Las Vegas.)

“Reggie might not be here tonight, but we are definitely back together. We’ll celebrate my birthday next week. There’s nothing I need or want. I’ve got everything, and our romance couldn’t be better.”
Also spotted dining at Tao was comedian Carlos Mencia enjoying sushi, spare ribs and satay of bass and singing along to the music. Kevin Federline and girlfriend Victoria Prince also were in the dining room. Golfer Anthony Kim, who had partnered with Justin Timberlake during the Shriners Celebrity Pro-Am mid-week, joined the celebration later in the evening with friends.
Our loyal Vegas DeLuxe reader Richard Corey captured the night and posted his videos on YouTube.
