Mayor Oscar Goodman blogs about his fifth and final full day in London on VegasontheRoad.com (go there for the most recent photos, too):
It is certainly no secret that I very much enjoy meeting new people -- in Las Vegas or anywhere else in the world. I took the opportunity on Saturday to get out and shake a few hands. These are the people who are potential visitors to Las Vegas, and I thought I’d extend a personal invitation and the news about the new, nonstop air service.

We drove to some scenic and historic landmarks where there were sure to be travelers from all over the world. Knowing that not many people were likely to walk up to a guy in a suit, I made sure to bring the fabulous Las Vegas showgirls with me.
I brought a supply of my famous casino chip business cards, and I handed them out everywhere I went, along with a Las Vegas lapel pin that blinks. They are a great way to make friends and remind people what a great place Las Vegas is to visit.

Representatives from The Lion King invited us backstage Saturday evening to talk with performers and stage hands since the show also plays in Las Vegas. We had some laughs and took some photos. You may see them in publications very soon, if you haven’t already.
Enjoy the photos! Tomorrow, we depart London Heathrow on British Airways’ inaugural flight to Las Vegas.
