Our spoiler-alert results story is abbreviated tonight as I am emceeing the celebrity star presentation for Joe Jackson at the Brenden Theatres in the Palms ahead of the premiere of Michael Jackson’s much-anticipated film This Is It.
Back to the dance floor!
SPOILER ALERT: Please do not read any further if you want to get the full surprise and drama of watching the West Coast tape-delayed broadcast of ABC’s top-rated Dancing With the Stars. But come back after the show to compare notes with us!
From my Twitter page:
Good news is our three Las Vegas favorites -- Flamingo headliner Donny Osmond with Kym Johnson, singer Kelly Osbourne with Louis Van Amstel and Derek Hough with model Joanna Krupa are all safe and go on next week.
Country music sensation Taylor Swift -- no Kanye West in sight -- is tonight’s guest. Also safe are Iron Chef announcer and actor Mark Dacascos with Lacey Schwimmer and singer Aaron Carter with Karina Smirnoff.
Looking more and more like retired NFL star Michael Irvin with Anna Demidova and actress Melissa Joan Hart with Mark Ballas, last year’s pro winner with Olympic gold medalist gymnast Shawn Johnson, will be on the DWTS firing line within the next 20 minutes.
The DWTS dance-off will be between two sports stars: Michael and snowboard champ Louie Vito, which means our first elimination of the night is Melissa Joan.
After the dance-off, Louie slides out of DWTS, and Michael is safe for another week. Photos on VDLX tomorrow. Videos in a few moments. Just announced another unexpected double elimination on DWTS again next week.
Check back tomorrow here at Vegas DeLuxe for my full report and our dance floor action photos. Meantime, here are the jitterbug from Donny and Kym and Kelly and Louis and the waltz from Derek and Joanna on YouTube:
