Foodies across America will tune in yet again tonight for a new episode of Top Chef: Las Vegas. The remaining seven cheftestants have to face our Wynn super chef Paul Bartolotta and actress Natalie Portman after last week’s brutal, unexpected cut by RM Seafood of Mandalay Bay chef and guest judge Rick Moonen.
Paul will host a viewing party at his seafood restaurant at the Wynn tonight, but no advance word as to whom he cuts and sends packing up their kitchen knives to go home on the Bravo show. However, Johnny Avello, Wynn sports book director, has come up with his new odds, and kitchen calamities look grim for Robin Leventhal.
Interestingly, Kevin Gillespie and Jennifer Carroll have split up the Voltaggio brothers, Michael and Bryan, and simultaneously ousted them out of the top spot! Once again, we must point out that Johnny’s odds are solely for entertainment purposes and not for gaming.
Here are the odds for tonight: Kevin, who opened at 8/1, is now a 9/5 favorite, with Robin, who started out at 28/1, now 75/1 and facing the meat cleaver. The others are Michael Voltaggio, who opened at 11/1, is now 2/1; Jennifer Carroll (20/1) is now 7/2; Bryan (15/1) is now 9/2; Eli Kirshtein (22/1) is now 18/1; and Michael Isabella (25/1) is now 28/1.

Another of hotel mogul Steve Wynn’s star chefs, David Walzog of SW Steakhouse, appeared on Food Network’s Iron Chef America last Sunday and challenged Cat Cora. It was a thrilling, neck-and-neck contest right down to the final minutes, when Cat prevailed by a mere three points.
