Paris Hilton’s honeymoon celebration after her wild weekend “mock marriage” didn’t last five minutes. No sooner had the cameras finished rolling for the British TV special segment she’d filmed at the Little Church of the West wedding chapel than she went back to the Hard Rock Hotel with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt for an intimate romantic dinner a deux at Rare 120. Paris and Doug continued on to Body English, where Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath was partying.
Mark McGrath, right, and a friend.
It was a busy night at the Hard Rock, with the Camp Freddy rockers also dining at Rare 120, including Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney of Jane’s Addiction, Billy Morrison of The Cult, Matt Sorum of Guns ’N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver and Donovan Leitch, son of legendary folk singer Donovan. Steve Stevens, who plays for Billy Idol, treated his wife to a sexy shopping spree at Love Jones!
Aria at CityCenter.
*It’s official -- as I tweeted yesterday -- that The Light Group hospitality empire here will run four new venues in the main Aria hotel casino at MGM’s CityCenter opening this December in addition to its own planned Harmon Spa Hotel there.
The Light Group’s restaurant will be known as The Union restaurant and lounge serving contemporary American food, and the nightclub spots will be Haze and a high-roller gaming lounge called The Deuce. The Light Group will open the new Liquid pool for next season complete with underwater speakers. Its planned Harmon Spa Hotel is set to open next year after construction problems are resolved.
Randy Couture and his son Ryan Couture.
*Even though he lost in a unanimous decision at UFC 102 in Portland, Ore., over the weekend, our hometown hero Randy Couture isn’t retiring. Vegas DeLuxe congratulates the 46-year-old five-time champion on signing a new deal for six new fights over the next 28 months to wind up his career before retirement looms. I run into Randy and wife Kim at the Tuff-N-Uff fights at The Orleans, so personal congratulations on son Ryan’s fight success, too!
Terry Fator during "Las Vegas Celebrates the Music of Michael Jackson" at The Pearl in the Palms.
*As we told you last week, today’s the day that Terry Fator releases his debut DVD less than six months after he became a Strip headliner at The Mirage. His Terry Fator & Cast of Thousands features new impressions and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. A massive viral Internet marketing campaign is due to start this Friday across America and Canada reaching more than six million. Fans will be able to custom decorate their emails using Terry and his ventriloquist dolls, and incredible technology will permit users to insert their own headshot on his dolls as his supporting act at The Mirage!
*Playboy Playmate Alison Waite, who was Miss May 2006, announced at the Palms that Las Vegas local and Playboy Club dealer Heidi Wheeler has won the Miss Playboy Club August contest. Each month’s winner will be featured in the upcoming 2010 calendar.

*Hotel mogul Steve Wynn may have created the best travel bargain yet to lure well-heeled California tourists back in droves. For $569, L.A. area high rollers get three nights at the Wynn and fly on a private jet between Burbank and Las Vegas, thus bypassing TSA security lines and procedures. Steve’s also promising other extras!

Roger went backstage after watching Terry Fator’s show, while country crooner Tracy Lawrence went to see Criss Angel’s Cirque du Soleil show Believe at the Luxor. … Friday Night Lights star Scott Porter turned up Peepshow in Planet Hollywood. … Baseball mega-hitter Barry Bonds had a surprise when he discovered his dessert was served by none other than his young daughter Aisha wearing an oversized chef’s jacket from chef Barry Dakake at N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms. As the long-delayed burial of Michael Jackson is set for Friday, family patriarch Joe Jackson talks about his son’s death and how he wants all those involved in it brought to justice -- and not just the doctors! Two top master chefs will do battle with each other dressed up for Human Rooster Fighting in a Tournament of Chefs as part of Restaurant Week. Plus, a photo gallery of all the stars at play in Vegas and an eye-popping peek inside the annual strippers convention!
