Joanna Angel, the princess of punk porn, has been added to the sexy cast of Haunting Kira, a new horror flick about to start filming here in Las Vegas. Producers say Joanna is the perfect fit for their story of a ghost who has reanimated a rotting corpse and roams the streets of Sin City!
As the head of her own adult production company, Burning Angel Entertainment, Joanna has appeared in more than 60 films and directed more than 20. She will star alongside Rachel Grubb (Strip Club Slasher), Kathleen Kinmont (Bride of Re-Animator) who was once married to Lorenzo Lamas, Monique Dupree (Skeleton Key 2) and Donna Hamblin (Killer Biker Chicks) in the project written and directed by special effects artist Teresa Fahs of Gorify.com fame. Also on board is Ari Lehman, who is the first actor to play Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th franchise.
Haunting Kira is a Women in Horror production. “Could we do a Sin City zombie film without at least one porn star?” producer Chad Clinton Freeman joked. “Seriously, though, Joanna Angel is a perfect fit for our film. Haunting Kira is an exploration into diversity, individuality and identity, and she’s an entrepreneur who got where she is by doing things her own way.”
Joanna Angel, Taylor Wayne and Vince Neil.
Joanna will play a character named Cindy Sinn, who seduces another female character in a bar bathroom stall. “As those who know my artwork can attest, I’m committed to realism,” Teresa said. “So when it came to casting the right actress for our hot girl-on-girl sex scene, Joanna was the natural choice. I’m delighted to be working on this project with yet another free-thinking, gutsy woman who I genuinely respect.”
Joanna’s film credits include Porny Monster, Repenetrator, The XXXorcist, Joanna’s Angels, Punk Rock Pussycat Dolls and L.A. Pink. She most recently appeared in Sean Cain’s indie horror film Breath of Hate.
