More than 20 superstar deejays took charge of the four-day Fabulous Fest at the Palms in one of the largest all-star lineups of the world’s top music connoisseurs ever assembled in Las Vegas -- and celebrities turned out in full force!
It all kicked off poolside at the Palms Pool & Bungalows with Steve Aoki and DJ Scotty Boy. The party continued later at Rain with DJ Jazzy Jeff, who was preceded by DJ R.O.B.’s opening set. Back at the pool, the deejays changed over, with DJ BEEJ handling the opening set, followed by Danny Love.

Before his nightclub show, DJ Jazzy Jeff dined at Nove Italiano with three friends and enjoyed the signature sangria and Fiji water to go with their shrimp francaise and a mozzarella pizza followed by filet mignon steaks. Dining separately at Nove, rapper, TV actor and Public Enemy star Flavor Flav and his lady friend ordered fried calamari, lobster tail, Nove spaghetti and chicken Parmigiana.
At N9NE Steakhouse, three guests joined retired wrestler Ric “The Nature Boy” Flair for dinner. They drank Perrier Jouet Champagne and Pinot Noir to go with the seafood platter, wedge salad and seared scallops. Also spotted on the first night of the DJ bash, actor Michael Clarke Duncan at Rain, baseball slugger Frank Thomas and Larry Johnson of the Kansas City Chiefs. Up atop the Fantasy Tower of the Palms, singer Matt Goss was spotted celebrating the debut of his new Palms show Matt Goss Live From Las Vegas with Chuy Bravo from E!’s Chelsea Lately, actress and former Miss Hawaii Kelly Hu and his Pussycat Dolls founder producer Robin Antin.

With hardly a beat between late-night partying and dawn breaking, the party resumed poolside with the multiple talents of Miguel Migs, the gatekeeper of electric music’s soulful realm; Nickodemus, known for his Latin, funk and afro beats; and Keith Evans, who spearheaded Las Vegas’ own house music movement in 2000. Chuy made the scene with four friends and wore plaid shorts, a lime green shirt and a Kangol hat.
Free agent Frank Thomas enjoyed dinner at the N9NE bar with a friend, ordering his usual favorites -- rock shrimp to start and a filet mignon with sides of spinach and creamed corn for his main course. Back again nearby was Larry Johnson and his brother enjoying fresh Maine lobster bisque and jumbo shrimp cocktails.

Electronica mastermind Paul Oakenfold celebrated his first anniversary and first night return from his European tour with Madonna by presenting Perfecto Vegas at Rain. The evening featured Louis Puig and an opening set by Frank Richards with guests Robin Antin, Michael Clarke Duncan and Matt Goss. The party also continued poolside with the Cuban-influenced master mix of DJ Eric Cubeechee.
The four-day Fabulous Fest continued right along with Beatport, the No. 1 download portal worldwide, presenting the music industry’s premier names poolside, including Carl Cox and Manufactured Superstars, Keith Evans and Jordan Stevens. Featured at the Main Event were Steve Angello, who is part of the infamous Swedish House Mafia, Miami’s DJ Murk, Real El Canario, infamous DJ and crowd favorite Felix Da Housecat and renowned trance DJ and record producer Markus Schulz. Opening sets included DJ Reza, Scotty Boy and N9NE Group’s own Michael Fuller.
Everybody agreed that the Fabulous Fest was a huge success and will become a regular summer feature in Las Vegas!
