Hometown rockers The Killers scored their own knockout last night while Floyd Mayweather Jr. was victorious just across the Strip! Just yards from each other -- Floyd at MGM Grand and The Killers at Mandalay Bay -- fans caused one monumental traffic jam this mighty and memorable weekend of super-action.
Nobody does it better than Las Vegas when it comes to super-sporting events and incredible concerts. Certainly not within 100 yards of each other on the same street anywhere else in the world!

Our contributing photographer Glenn Pinkerton of the Las Vegas News Bureau was front and center for The Killers concert, which was a standing-room-only success story. Glenn captured these three photos of lead singer Brandon Flowers and guitarists Dave Keuning and Mark Stoerner during the show in support of the release of their new studio album Day & Age.

It was victory night for the hometown boys playing in their own backyard: Congrats to Floyd and The Killers for scoring the wins!
