Photo Gallery: Kid Rock rocks The Pearl in the Palms

Grammy Award-winning musician Kid Rock simply shined brilliantly in his concert at The Pearl Concert Theater in the Palms. Leading lens lady Denise Truscello and our contributing photographer Scott Harrison were front and center for the show.

I couldn’t help but think of the fight that Kid Rock had with Tommy Lee in the same showroom during the MTV Video Music Awards two years ago over their mutual ex-wife Pamela Anderson. After his show, Kid Rock was a guest of Palms owner George Maloof for dinner at N9NE Steakhouse. Dressed in a brown shirt, jeans, sneakers and a fedora, he and his entourage of 10 sat in the main dining room.

Kid had a beer as he feasted on the sashimi appetizer and a filet mignon for his main course. After the meal, he went next door to Rain, taking the VIP table onstage by the DJ booth. His entourage had grown to 30 and included members of the hip-hop group Booya Tribe, with DJ Jazzy Jeff behind the turntables after midnight. About 3 a.m., Kid surprised the crowd with a 15-minute performance of his own!
