After two nights of competition for the gentlemen and the ladies on Dancing With the Stars, there’s jostling at the top that is making a clear leader unclear so far -- and several contenders at the bottom who will be booted on tonight’s results show.

Last night, we reported the immediate scores for the ladies, and here’s how they looked after their relay race dances: Joanna Krupa partnered with Derek Hough: 34; Mya and Dmitry Chaplin: 31; Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel: 31; Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo: 27; Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas: 24; Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 22; Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani: 20; and Macy Gray and Jonathan Roberts: 19.

Combined with the men’s dance scores that we reported from the Monday night premiere -- click HERE for our reports -- the score board shows Las Vegas favorites Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne in the Top Five, with UFC champion Chuck Liddell fairly safe in the middle in the ninth spot out of 16 celebrity contestants. Three couples are tied for last, so my bet is that Ashley Hamilton and Macy will be axed tonight, although there’s such hostility toward former Washington politico Tom DeLay, he might wind up hammered out!

DWTS: Week 1 Ladies

The standings: Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough: 34; Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff: 32; Mya and Dmitry Chaplin: 31; Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel: 31; Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson: 30; Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer: 29; Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower: 27; Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo: 27; Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya: 24; Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas: 24; Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 22; Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani: 20; Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke: 20; Macy Gray and Jonathan Roberts: 19; Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova: 19; and Ashley Hamilton and Edyta Sliwinska: 19.

As I wrote in our spoiler alert story last night, right after the live broadcast to the East Coast, ABC censors did indeed bleep out the comments that Macy made after the scores by judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. In polite terms, she said she’d busted her cherry out on the dance floor, except she used one form of a four-letter word that the video editors had to race to exorcize before the West Coast broadcast!

The professional dancers looked stunned with her statement and buzzed that she’d been in wild spirits from too much partying and too few rehearsals! We’ll put it down to her being this season’s eccentric Cloris Leachman! Macy might just get the viewers’ low vote and the axe in taking offense at her language. We’ll have the spoiler alert story tonight on who’s booted and who stays shortly after 6 p.m. our time after the East Coast broadcast is over.

After two spectacular nights of performances, two couples will be eliminated on the first results show of Season 9. Singer and rapper Sean Kingston will kick it all off alongside eight of his own dancers with his new single “Face Drop” from his album Tomorrow released yesterday. Tomorrow also includes his huge summer hit “Fire Burning,” which has sold more than 2 million downloads.

There will be a special tribute to the sad and recent death of Patrick Swayze, who made a guest appearance on DWTS Season 1 while teaching lifts to his friend John O’Hurley. Ten DWTS pro dancers will perform a three-song medley featuring Patrick’s own “She’s Like the Wind” from Dirty Dancing, The Righteous Brothers’ classic “Unchained Melody” from Ghost and the Oscar-winning “(I’ve Had) the Time of My Life,” also from Dirty Dancing. Cheryl, Dmitri, Tony, Chelsie, Jonathan, both Annas, Maksim, Louis and Edyta will perform the specially choreographed routines.

As Vegas Deluxe previously reported, our Mandalay Bay cast of the Tony Award-winning The Lion King will perform the spectacular “Circle of Life” that opens each show in a stunning parade of costumes and animal puppetry. It will be the largest number of performers to ever take the ABC show’s stage. Also tonight, comedian and DTWS Season 6 alumnus Adam Carolla will return with a hilarious “Losers’ Club” segment with former contestants Kenny Mayne, Jeffrey Ross and our own Rio headliner magician Penn Jillette.

Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron interviews celebrity audience members Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

Just what prompted the outburst from Macy, who was even labeled “eccentric” by her partner Jonathan? Here’s what the judges said about the singer-songwriter’s “cash for clunkers” dance moves. Carrie Ann said: “There is something fascinating to watch about you. Your technique? I can’t even go there.” Len added: “There’s a vulnerability about you and a charm. I can only say this: If I was at home, I would be voting for you.” Bruno finalized: “Macy, you are endearing. It was like watching a child take its first steps in a scary new world.”

Backstage in the live interview segment with co-host Samantha Harris, Macy let rip with her cherry comment, which sent the ABC censors into a frenzy to delete the remark before the rest of the nation got to hear it. We’ll see if she pays the ultimate penalty tonight!
