Every spring since 1998, Viva Las Vegas’ Rockabilly Festival has been on the Las Vegas calendar without ever missing a beat and is the largest event of its kind in the world. Veteran promoter and Rockabilly DJ Tom Ingram has more than 50 bands and 15 deejays performing nightly at The Orleans this weekend.

Highlights include the Saturday Classic Car Show and the 6 p.m. appearance by legendary musician Chuck Berry, and then just before the midnight hour, the first lady of Rockabilly, Wanda Jackson, performs in the main ballroom.

Starting today, there will be more than 120 vendors selling everything imaginable that fits into the party atmosphere: vintage and reproduction clothing, 1950s memorabilia, records, car accessories, bags, shoes and even hair pomade. Additionally, there will be dancers, burlesque performers, dance lessons and contests, plus the popular Tiki Pool Party.
