Poolside glamour rules as Rehab, the preeminent daylife experience, returns to the Hard Rock Hotel for an unprecedented seventh season. The world-famous Sunday pool party will reach new heights this summer when it kicks off April 18 with A-list celebrities and some of the music industry’s biggest acts, including an exclusive performance by Wyclef Jean.
Additionally, Rehab welcomes back TruTV for filming of the third season of its hit series Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel. More than 4,000 partygoers will travel from around the world to attend this premiere pool party each weekend, making it the largest weekly entertainment destination in Las Vegas.

“There’s no doubt that the Hard Rock Hotel is Las Vegas’ ultimate destination for the world’s most beautiful, stylish and affluent people from all over the world,” said Phil Shalala, CMO of the Hard Rock. “We’ve been looking forward to the summer of 2010 for two years now, knowing that our multi-million dollar expansion would be complete. The new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is unlike anything Las Vegas has ever seen and promises to be an experience our guests will never forget.”
Rehab continues to grow and evolve each year. Last year, Rehab generated record-breaking revenues -- up 30 percent over 2008. This season promises to be even more successful, with rooms at capacity for opening weekend and cabana reservations sold out. Rehab also features world famous deejays, including DJ Vice and DJ Irie, and the 2010 Miss Rehab model search each Sunday.

Named one of the Top 10 pools in the world by The Travel Channel and one of Trip Advisor’s Top 10 sexiest hotels in the U.S., Rehab and the Hard Rock will continue to offer 50 poolside cabanas that include 42-inch HD plasma TVs and poolside spa service options from Reliquary, the Hard Rock’s all-new spa and water sanctuary.
DITCH FRIDAYS AT PALMS
As the desert heat rolls into Las Vegas, Palms Pool & Bungalows makes a splash with three new reasons to celebrate poolside at the Palms. The N9Ne Group continues to raise the bar by offering revelers a pool lounge every Friday and Saturday night, a monthly nighttime event known as Skinny Dip and Sun Dance, a scintillating party every Sunday afternoon.

In conjunction with Miller Lite, Ditch Fridays returns with its action-packed parties May 7 and arrives for its fourth successful season featuring a performance by Sean Paul. Created as a way to start the weekend early, Ditch Fridays provides an excuse for locals to skip work, unwind and hang out poolside. Additionally, ditchers spotted drinking Miller Lite will receive a wristband worth three complimentary Miller Lites, as well as access to the VIP area’s private pool and bar. Ditch is open noon to 7 p.m., and admission is $25 (local ladies are free).
Also on the schedule: Palms Pool & Bungalows will feature a relaxing nighttime pool lounge at 11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday premiering April 19. DJ Scotty Boy heats up the scene from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays, and DJ Zen Freeman will spin from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturdays. Cover is $30 and includes access into Rain.

There’s no better way to party this summer than Sun Dance, a music-driven weekly event from noon to 7 p.m. sponsored by Miller Genuine Draft that kicks off May 9 and features Scotty Boy. Featuring national DJ talent, Skinny Dip entices partygoers to dive in under the moonlight with a monthly party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. kicking off May 18. Heating up the turntables during Skinny Dip’s debut is reality TV star and New Jersey’s favorite DJ Pauly D of Jersey Shore. After Skinny Dipping, guests can join the after-party inside Moon during the weekly Bang Tuesday event.
Additionally, Palms Pool Cafe opens this month and will operate during regular pool hours, and the Palms is home to Las Vegas’ first and only solar-powered DJ booth, which was unveiled last April during an Earth Day celebration. The DJ booth, built by Sustainable Waves, uses Sharp solar panels to capture power directly from the pool deck and Outback inverters to convert the sun’s energy into 110 volts of electricity to rock the pool.
