Strip Scribbles exclusive: New battle looms for Angelica Bridges

Fantasy star Angelica Bridges thought she’d solved the bitter custody battle with her ex-husband NHL star Sheldon Souray over their daughter Valentina, who resides here in Las Vegas with Angelica. However, I have learned exclusively that the fight has flared anew and that a court hearing is underway.
It was last October when we exclusively broke the news that Angelica was forced to quit the topless Luxor show a day after she premiered in the 10th anniversary show with a yearlong contract. Fortunately, a month later the singer and former Baywatch star was able to return to the show having negotiated a settlement with the Edmonton Oilers defenseman, as she told me in an exclusive interview.
Now, despite all the signed papers, he’s started the legal proceedings all over again. I’m reliably told that he’s been back to Family Court in Los Angeles and wants his agreements terminated. The Family Court has set in motion an automatic move for a court-appointed official to visit here and document Angelica and Valentina’s schedules, similar to a live-in IRS audit.
Vegas DeLuxe will continue to monitor this developing story that occurred over the weekend. While Sheldon’s action is pending, Angelica will continue to star in Fantasy but cannot discuss anything, as it’s a pending legal matter.
Host Mario Lopez watches as 2009 Miss America Katie Stam crowns Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron the 2010 Miss America at the 2010 Miss America Pageant in Planet Hollywood on Jan. 30, 2010.
*2010 Miss America Caressa Cameron singing “God Bless America” at the MLB home opener in Washington, D.C., set the tone for her recent star-studded days. Caressa shook hands with President Obama after he tossed out the first pitch and called it “a magical moment for Miss America.” The excitement continued when Caressa taped The Mo'Nique Show to air nationally at a later date.
Caressa, who was crowned here at Planet Hollywood in January, also worked with Children’s Miracle Network to promote Dairy Queen’s National Miracle Treat Day on Aug. 5 and was interviewed by Fox & Friends morning host and 1989 Miss America Gretchen Carlson. Yesterday, it was all topped off by the annual Cherry Blossom Parade in D.C., where Caressa served as the grand marshal and performed.
*Aria and its CityCenter neighbor the Mandarin Oriental have made the prestigious 14th Annual Conde Nast Traveler Hot 100 list with 132 other hotels from 55 countries. Thousands of new hotels were reviewed before the new list was compiled. The news was announced Saturday at Conde Nast’s party featuring Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale at Haze but became official today. Big congratulations to MGM, who engineered CityCenter.
*Once again, our condolences to Monte Carlo magician Lance Burton and his family on the death of his mother last week. He will be away from Las Vegas for two days, with the funeral services being held in Columbia, Ky., tomorrow. The viewing is this evening for family and friends.

Newly single Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints, who has officially broken up with Kim Kardashian, was spotted with Swizz.
