America votes, and Dancing With the Stars says goodbye to …

Sex symbol Pamela Anderson, who was the hit of last night’s Dancing With the Stars, was even hotter tonight. She and pro partner Damian Whitewood did an encore performance of their rumba set to Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” which shot them into third place last night on the top-rated ABC show.

More importantly, it kept the sexy blond duo safe on tonight’s elimination show.

SPOILER ALERT: Please do not read any further if you want to watch the West Coast tape-delayed broadcast of Dancing With the Stars without anything revealed. Consider this my one and only friendly warning! But come back after the show to see if you agree with my observations.

The guest singer tonight was Sade, who sang her new song “Baby Father” and her hit “Sweetest Taboo.” The show also featured a version of my old Home Videos of the Stars as celebrity contestants and judge Bruno Tonioli parodied classic films. It was strange to see Bruno as a horror film actor -- or not? You’ll love the spoofs of Chachablanca, Glambo: First Dance and Tuesday the 13th.

DWTS Season 10: Week 4

The near spills and stumbles that beset The Bachelor stud Jake Pavelka with Chelsie Hightower last night didn’t stop America from voting for him, and along with Cincinnati Bengals star Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke, Olympic figure skating champion Evan Lysacek with Anna Trebunskaya and singer Nicole Scherzinger with Derek Hough, they were declared safe early on.

Then a sigh of relief when ESPN anchor Erin Andrews and our Le Reve choreographer Maksim Chmerkovskiy were declared safe. So with Maks, Chelsie and Derek, Las Vegas still has a solid connection going forward to next week.

In the end, it came down to the drama of reality TV star Kate Gosselin with Tony Dovolani, comedienne Niecy Nash with Louis Van Amstel and All My Children heartthrob Aiden Turner with Edyta Sliwinska.

We warned last night that Kate might still get another week’s reprieve, and sure enough, Kate and Tony were declared safe, then Niecy and Louis were declared safe in the bottom two, and Aiden and Edyta were eliminated.

So even with all the rooting from daytime soap fans and co-star Susan Lucci being in the audience, it didn’t save the handsome Brit. Just wondering if viewers didn’t like the dress of nothingness that Edyta wore this week?! Viewers are so judgmental and fickle. Now the hate will pile up for another week against Kate, unless the custody battle with ex-husband Jon Gosselin forces her to quit amid more drama.

We’ll be back here tomorrow with tonight’s elimination-show photographs.
