Photos: No swim trunks? LL Cool J hosts at Wet Republic

Ladies definitely Loved Cool James over the weekend at the grand opening of MGM Grand’s Wet Republic, as the Grammy Award-winning musician, actor, producer and entrepreneur was cool as ice in his indigo sunglasses and Gucci sneakers hosting his screaming bikini-clad fans on the Strip. LL’s sexy smile and big gun show wooed and wowed the crowd as he mingled and posed for photographs for more than an hour in the exclusive poolside lounge.

LL shared his private VIP table’s Veuve Clicquot stash with dozens of ladies throughout his daytime hosting gig and took to the stage for a set in front of the thousands of poolside partiers. He invited the ladies to join him onstage to dance to hits like “Headsprung,” “Doin’ It” and “Going Back to Cali,” and all hands were in the air as the sexy people danced. The crowd went wild when he performed at pool level and danced alongside partygoers, and our contributing photographer Erik Kabik was onsite to capture all the fun in the Las Vegas sun.

The star of CBS’ NCI: Los Angeles attended a performance of Cirque du Soleil’s Ka at MGM Grand that evening after finishing his hosting duties at Wet Republic. It was his first time seeing the spectacular, and he spent nearly his entire time backstage after the show telling the cast and crew how amazed he was. He posed for photographs with the cast and declared Ka his favorite Cirque show.

LL’s fun at MGM Grand wasn’t over, however, as he was a presenter at Sunday’s 45th Academy of Country Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena, hitting the orange carpet for celebrity arrivals, telling the arena and CBS audience how blown away he was by the ACM Awards and introducing Taylor Swift’s performance.
