The Girls Next Door and Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches star Bridget Marquardt played the role of a macabre wedding bride, and gal pal Holly Madison went back to her Hooters roots at the Halfway to Halloween haunted party at Eva Longoria Parker’s Eve the Nightclub in Crystals at MGM’s CityCenter on Saturday night.

The blonde bombshell reality TV star and film producer boyfriend Nick Carpenter threw the spooky-themed fright night dressed as a dead bride and groom in bizarre, blood-stained wedding attire and gruesome face paint -- with a gory, spider-webbed wedding cake to match.

Costume-clad celebrity guests included Holly, Bridget’s GND co-star and the star of Peepshow at Planet Hollywood and the upcoming E! reality TV series Holly’s World, in her old Santa Monica, Calif., Hooters uniform, and Angelica Bridges, former Baywatch beauty and now the star of Fantasy at the Luxor, dressed as friend and fellow redhead headline performer Carrot Top.

Halfway to Halloween at Eve

Bridget and her beau dined first at Eva’s celebrated steakhouse, Beso, before walking the red carpet in full costume for their wedding wickedness. Bridget, who is a self-confessed Halloween fanatic with plans for her own line of costumes, said she had tons of fun making the gory attire. She told me Friday at Holly’s housewarming party that she’d purchased a brand new wedding dress and vintage tuxedo, and then in devilish delight destroyed them for the costumes.

“We soaked the dress in gray dye and dragged it across the backyard and then down the street,” she said. Bridget again used the black wedding to deny the story she’d told me three days earlier that the couple don’t presently have any wedding plans for the near future. “We figured we would try it dead first and see how things come back to life after that,” she laughed.

The costume-clad couple also revealed that plans are underway for a new reality TV show this summer that would highlight their lives, moving into a new house together and Bridget’s dream to start her own party-planning business.

In true wedding fashion, the dead bride and groom participated in the cutting of a not-so-traditional cake. Gimme Some Sugar created the elaborate cake with splattered blood, cobwebs and a dead bride and headless groom figure atop.

The love mates took turns feeding each other cake, and Nick ensured that his bride wore more on her face than in her mouth. The gruesome bride also made sure to spread the wedding fortune onto a future dead bride and groom with a bouquet and garter toss -- also suitably destroyed -- to two lucky costumed partygoers.

The packed party crowd enjoyed the spooktacular event, which included elaborate displays of gory decorations and haunted visual displays on Eve’s digital projector screens. After the wedding, Bridget and Nick enjoyed the rest of the night dancing with friends in Eve’s VIP section.

They also watched a costume contest in which $3,000 in cash was awarded to the Top 3 winning contestants: Shrek, a replica Predator from the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger flick and an uncannily spot-on impersonation of Michael Jackson.
