“Come on down!” will be singer Drew Lachey’s battle cry for the next 11 days when he takes on the duties of celebrity host for the live The Price Is Right show at Bally’s.
“I have been a fan of the show for years, so I am thrilled to be part of this live experience on The Strip,” Drew said in a press release. “I can’t wait to see the contestants ‘come on down.’ ”
The Cincinnati-born pop star won Season 2 of Dancing With the Stars with pro partner Cheryl Burke in 2006, beating out 10 other couples, including fellow finalists Jerry Rice and Anna Trebunskaya. The next season, ABC signed him as co-host of the top-rated series, and then he hosted ABC’s Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann featuring DWTS judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Drew is here through Aug. 21 recruiting audience members to play for a chance to win thou$and$ of dollars at The Price Is Right, which is produced by Fremantle Media of American Idol fame. Senior Editor John Katsilometes interviewed Drew last week and posted his story in The Kats Report today.
