For Kat Von D, Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx is out — and Jesse James is in?

The tattooed romance of the year is on! Fresh off his disastrous divorce from Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, Jesse James has found a new gal pal!

Our spies report that Kat Von D, the celebrity tattoo artist and star of TLC’s L.A. Ink, was at Bodies: The Exhibition at the Luxor yesterday holding hands and being very affectionate with West Coast Choppers CEO and TV personality Jesse.

Kat also has gone through a public breakup with Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx. She used Twitter to say, “To avoid confusion, I just want to let everyone know Nikki and I are no longer dating, but still remain friends.”

Kat and Jesse discreetly toured the exhibition, observing and reading about the inner workings of the human body. Kat, 28, especially enjoyed the skeletal gallery, where she meticulously inspected the spinal cord, saying that it was “very cool.”

The tattoo artist was very pleasant when a staff member asked for her photograph, even helping to fix the camera after the flash broke. However, Jesse, 41, quickly proceeded to the next gallery to avoid being photographed.

Before exiting through the gift shop, Kat D signed the guestbook, writing: “Completely mind-blowing!” The couple also were spotted having dinner together while in town.

For the time being, Kat’s spokesperson denies the romance. “They did have dinner, but they are just friends,” the spokesperson told People. “There is no romance there with Jesse.”
