For Angelica Bridges, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas could be recast as once you live in Vegas, you can never really leave Vegas.

The actress, model, Strawberry Blonde singer and recent Fantasy headliner at the Luxor was among the women trying out for the new Las Vegas team of the Lingerie Football League that held casting calls and tryouts last week, and contributing photographer Tom Donoghue, who has a long and storied history shooting sports, was onsite for the outdoor events.

Team members of the Las Vegas group are expected to be named this week. Vegas DeLuxe spywitnesses said tryouts went very well and that the women are “gridiron girls with guts. They were fierce competitors and no holds barred in their battle to join the team.”

The Las Vegas team, which remains unnamed, won’t be competing in the LFL this year, but they will be making media and promotional appearances and hosting viewing parties in Las Vegas. Team name suggestions can be emailed to LasVegas@LFLUS.com, and the person to submit the winning name wins lifetime season tickets. The Las Vegas team name and colors are expected to be announced during Super Bowl week.

Bridges’ final performance in Fantasy was July 31. Vegas DeLuxe posted news about the LFL expansion team in Las Vegas one week ago.
