Photos: Planet Hollywood bikini contest nears Labor Day finals

If it’s Wednesday, it must be Belgium! Whoops, I got that wrong. If it’s Wednesday here at Vegas DeLuxe, it must be our weekly visit to Planet Hollywood’s bikini beauty bash at Pleasure Pool, and sure enough, contributing photographer Tom Donoghue was on duty there yet again.

Tom captured the sights, the scenes and even the sounds -- well, at least the sense of it all for Vegas DeLuxe’s photo gallery as the contest enters its final two weekends, followed by the finals Labor Day weekend.

That’s when all of the weekly winners gather for the final showdown, and just one bathing beauty will walk away with bragging rights, the title and a crown.

Tom told us: “Things are really heating up at the Pleasure Pool, and I’m not talking about our desert temperatures. This week’s $500 winner was a Red Sox fan from Boston, followed by an Arizona attraction and a Wisconsin winner to round out the Top Three.”

Now that we’ve become hooked on the weekly festival of flesh, the parade of pulchritude and the carnival of cleavage, we’ll do our due diligence and follow it through to the very end when all of the Top Three winners return.

We’ll celebrate for two more weeks and then share with Vegas DeLuxe readers a special pictorial of the winner. This is (not) difficult work, so Labor Day indeed!
