Winning the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant at Mandalay Bay Events Center on Monday night is cause for celebration, and Jimena Navarrete of Guadalajara, Mexico, did exactly that the day after succeeding Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela in the annual international global competition.

Navarrete, only the second Miss Mexico to win the title and crown after Lupita Jones in 1991, commemorated her victory the day after the pageant while at Mandalay Bay pool and at the Bellagio fountains with Miss Universe photographer Matt Pettit.
