Weekend celebrity preview: Reality TV stars take over the town

Reality TV stars rule the Sin City roost this weekend, with everyone from The Hills and Bromance hunk Brody Jenner, The Girls Next Door and Bridget’s Best Beaches’ star Bridget Marquardt and Jesse Csincsak of The Bachelor and Ann Lueders of The Bachelorette partying up and down The Strip and The Strip adjacent. In fact, Csincsak and Lueders are getting hitched at Rumor tomorrow.

Friday, Aug. 27

Jenner, the stepbrother of the Kardashian siblings, celebrates his 27th birthday at Lavo in the Palazzo tonight and Tao Beach in The Venetian tomorrow. Is Jenner still dating Avril Lavigne, and if so, will she join him for the soirees? It’s a full weekend of wedding activities for Csincsak and Lueders, as the bachelor party is at Vanity, the big day is tomorrow at Rumor, and a party of 300, also at Rumor, is Sunday.

Comedian and talk show host Jay Leno takes the stage at The Mirage for two nights, Andrew Dice Clay is at the Las Vegas Hilton through Sunday, and “The Marriage Ref” Tom Papa returns to The Orleans with Greg Giraldo for two nights. Fox News’ Sean Hannity presents the Freedom Concert Tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Michael W. Smith at The Orleans Arena.

American Idol Season 3 winner and eight-time Grammy nominee Fantasia Barrino celebrates the release of her third album Back to Me with an official album release party and performance at Rain in the Palms. Steel Pulse is at Mandalay Bay Beach, Panteon Rococo, Raskahuele and Bang Data are at House of Blues in Mandalay Bay, Nashville Unplugged at Ovation Lounge in Green Valley Ranch features Doug Johnson and Dave Pahanish, and Cisco Adler and Shwayze are at Ditch Fridays at Palms Pool & Bungalows.

Model and actress Estella Warren launches Ultimate Girls Night Out with Chippendales in The Rio, and American Storm celebrates its fifth anniversary with a party and performance at Planet Hollywood.

Saturday, Aug. 28

Playboy princess Marquardt raises the daytime temperature at Azure Luxury Pool in the Palazzo with a winter wonderland party(!). Also at the Palazzo during the day: Jersey Boys’ Walk Like a Man shoe drive, in which one new pair of children's shoes gets the donor a complimentary ticket to the 6:30 p.m. performance.

Grammy-winning crooner Michael Buble sways into his home for the night, MGM Grand Garden Arena, with his Crazy Love Tour, and Ja Rule is at Venus Pool Club by day and Pure by night at Caesars Palace. The Tubes, who were once banned in Las Vegas because of their live wild shows, are at Red Rock Resort, and Metal Elvis is at Hard Rock Cafe on The Strip.

The Eighth Annual Hoodie Awards hosted by Steve Harvey is at Mandalay Bay Events Center, while comedy king Brad Garrett is at his Comedy Club in the Tropicana performing in both shows. Ryan Leslie of Real World: Back to New Orleans is at McFadden’s Saloon in The Rio.

Next week

Las Vegas is the top destination for Labor Day weekend, and Sean “P.Diddy” Combs, will.i.am, Lil Jon, Ray J, Busta Rhymes, Kid Cudi, LMFAO, Tone Loc, Young MC, Kelly Rowland, David Gray, Ray Lamontagne, Melissa Etheridge, Ozomatli and Keri Hilson are among the party weekend attractions.

In a final note, Sunday is Michael Jackson's birthday. The King of Pop, who died June 25, 2009, would’ve turned 52. Check back Monday morning for the weekend celebrity recap, and happy stargazing.
