It’s just a little more than two weeks ago that Caressa Cameron was crowned 2010 Miss America at Planet Hollywood here -- it’s difficult to believe it was such a short time ago! For Las Vegas photographer Tom Donoghue, it’s been just as busy a whirlwind as Miss America’s schedule, as they both flew to Miami for Super Bowl XLIV and the annual chefs charity fundraiser Taste of the NFL.

Last night, Fredericksburg, Va., native Caressa was on Fox TV News’ financial hour with Neil Cavuto talking about the first 14 days of her reign. And last night, Tom finished going through more than 5,000 photos that he captured on the Florida trip, and we’re happy that he agreed to share the highlights in these photo galleries.

Super Bowl XLIV: Halftime Show

Tom’s son Marine Sgt.. Edward Donoghue of Las Vegas, on leave from a tour of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, was Miss America’s official escort at her Super Bowl XLIV duties. Taste of the NFL, which featured Barenaked Ladies as entertainment this year, is a Super Bowl party with the purpose of combating hunger in the NFL team cities and to date has raised more than $12 million.

“I’ve never seen such a fantastic reaction to Miss America as this year’s Super Bowl appearances,” Tom told me. “She was literally mobbed like a Hollywood star, and all the celebrities who met her just fell head over heels for her. Caressa simply sparkles as bright as that crown on her head!”

Among the many celebrities she met were our hometown hero Floyd Mayweather Jr., Usher, Jamie Foxx, Queen Latifah, Carrie Underwood, Shane Mosley, Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, Joe Theismann, Warren Sapp, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Michael Strahan and Mike Ditka, along with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Taste of the NFL founder Wayne Kostroski.

We’ve also included here a rare photo gallery of British rockers The Who. They entertained during the half-time show and for the first time permitted coverage of their rehearsals. Our hard-working contributing lens man Tom got the shots!
