Now that major headline-name comedians have learned that Playboy Comedy has its own dedicated cabaret lounge at the Palms, they are lining up to play here, and producers and hosts Cort McCown and Paul Hughes have already booked it out with big comedy names through summer.
Playboy Comedy has taken over Matt Goss’s former The Gossy Lounge, and even though it only began its run this past weekend with headliner Nick Di Paolo, it was instantly hailed a success, guaranteeing a six-month run.
March 2010 Playboy Playmate beauty Kyra Milan emceed the evening, which will now run every Thursday and Friday at 10 p.m., with two shows Saturdays at 8 and 10 p.m. Admission also includes entry into The Playboy Club after the comedy show.
This weekend, Sebastian Maniscalco and Amy Schumer headline, followed by Marc Maron (March 4 to 6), Robert Kelly (March 11 to13), Steve Rannazzisi and Neal Brennan (March 18 to 20) and Harland Williams (March 25 to 27). Producers have already scheduled 11 comics for April and May, with more comedy stars in June, July and August. Each month, the new Playmate of the Month will emcee alongside Cort and Paul.
