Two albums recorded at George Maloof’s music studio in the Palms have received Grammy Award nominations in three categories for music superstars Jamie Foxx and Eminem.

Their nominations included Best Contemporary R&B album for Intuition by Jamie, and Eminem’s Beautiful was hailed for Best Rap Solo Performance, while Relapse is up for Best Rap Album.

Both artists worked on the sessions at the recording studio, which already has past Grammy wins with Maroon 5, Tony Bennett and Mary J. Blige.

“It’s an honor to continuously have Grammy-nominated talent from all genres lay down tracks in our studio. We congratulate this year’s nominees and look forward to working with them again,” said Zoe Thrall, director of Studio at the Palms.

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS from L.A. on Jan. 31.

Meantime, this weekend our Caesars Palace headliner Cher will be a presenter with her Burlesque co-star Christina Aguilera at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on CBS.
