For the first time in many months while she has been attempting to conceive a child through in-vitro fertilization, Canadian super-songbird Celine Dion is about to sing again! Our past and future Caesars Palace headliner is set to team with another Las Vegas star singer, Smokey Robinson, at the Grammy Awards on Jan. 31 on CBS.
Celine and Smokey will join Usher, Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson in an extraordinary TV first when they pay an unprecedented five-minute tribute to the late Michael Jackson, who will be honored with a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
More incredible is that the five stars will sing in tandem with Michael on his unique video in 3-D. Viewers at home will be able to obtain free 3-D glasses from Target starting Sunday to watch it in the revolutionary format. TV viewers without the special glasses will still be able to see the presentation, but not in 3-D.

Celine, Smokey and the others will perform alongside the 3-D video for “Earth Song,” which Michael made as an integral piece of the planned This Is It concerts at the O2 Arena in London before his unexpected death last June. It’s the first time a TV awards show will spotlight a 3-D segment. “Earth Song” will be played in its entirety; only a part of it was shown in the film documentary This Is It.
