Rocker Joel Madden of Good Charlotte flew to Las Vegas to host a special fundraising night at Moon in the Palms in support of the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. A portion of the night’s proceeds also benefited the UNICEF Tap Project.

Endorsed by Joel and his baby mama Nicole Richie, the UNICEF Tap Project works to reduce the number of people without access to safe water and basic sanitation.

“All the money that Moon nightclub is going to donate to UNICEF tonight is really going to help and go a long way,” Joel said. “I’m so happy and thankful to Moon and the Palms for doing that for UNICEF, and it makes tonight even more fun for me.”

Earlier, Joel dined at N9NE Steakhouse, where executive chef Barry Dakake served up tomato soup, organic lemon chicken and sides of creamed corn and cauliflower for the rocker’s dinner.
