Fireworks and the stars lit up The Strip and Las Vegas Valley yesterday for the Independence Day holiday weekend. Contributing photographer Erik Kabik captured the red, white and blue fireworks that brightened the sky as they were shot off from Caesars Palace, and Christopher Rauschnot @24kMedia on Twitter posted his fireworks videos on YouTube.

Meantime, the celebrity invasion continued at full power all over town for a third day with poolside and nightclub parties.
HOLLY MADISON AT WET REPUBLIC
Holly’s World star and Peepshow headliner Holly Madison basked in the hot sun for her Fourth of July celebration at MGM Grand’s Wet Republic with castmates Angel Porrino and Josh Strickland. Holly was extra glamorous in a floor-length Roberto Cavalli leopard-print dress until she stripped down to a saucy and sexy red American pride bikini. “The secret is eat lots of fruit the day before and don’t forget a spray tan!” she said.

Angel arrived in an off-the-shoulder black cover-up and then revealed for the first time her new curvy shape that was her generous 21st birthday gift from Holly. The boob job won’t make its TV debut until Sunday’s episode on E! Entertainment, but this was the first public appearance of the augmentation -- in a red peace sign-stamped bikini. Josh was a “The Situation” California beach boy in tank top, crimson shorts and neon yellow sunglasses.
Holly, who watched UFC 116 the previous night, told fans: “The UFC fights are just the most exciting events in Las Vegas. There’s always something happening every second at one of the mixed martial arts fights. It’s just a great energy.”
She admitted that her love life has slowed: “I’m having a really hard time meeting guys because I’m so busy, but someday I’ll meet someone. I’m definitely open to it. I love filming Holly’s World, and I love doing Peepshow here in Las Vegas. I’m writing a book about Las Vegas, as well, so I’m keeping busy with those things, and we’ll see what’s next.”
MIKE ‘THE SITUATION’ SORRENTINO AT REHAB
It was a two-day celebration for Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino at the Hard Rock Hotel for his birthday weekend. First stop was at Rare 120 for dinner and then onto Vanity for cake. The Situation went into the booth with DJ Eric D-Lux, who played his new single “The Situation” as wrestling legends Bill Goldberg and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin hung out in owner Jason Giambi’s VIP booth watching XXX star Jenna Haze and gal pals dancing up a storm.
Also spotted at the Hard Rock were MMA fighter Chuck Liddell working out in Rock Spa Gym and talk show host Montel Williams with his family at Pink Taco for dinner and World Cup watching.
Yesterday, the Jersey Shore hunk’s abs were on display for the crowd and cameras at Rehab while enjoying his stash of Couture Lollipops from Sugar Factory in Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile. Christopher posted his video of The Situation on YouTube.

Among the stars at country king Kenny Chesney’s two concerts in The Joint were NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman, Roger Clemens, Chuck Liddell and ESPN broadcaster Dick Vitale, while tribute band KISS Army rocked Carey Hart’s Wasted Space.
JWOWW & PAULY D AT THE PALMS
The Jersey Shore stars were everywhere at George Maloof’s Palms. Pauly D stretched out in a cabana at Palms Pool & Bungalows and later hit Rain and Moon. UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre also was poolside.
Jenny “ JWoww” Farley celebrated the launch of her clothing line Filthy Couture with parties at Ghostbar, Moon and Rain before calling it quits at 3 a.m. Also at Rain, One Republic, who partied until 3 a.m. listening to the sounds of DJ Paul Oakenfold.
JOSH KOSCHECK AT PALAZZO
The Ultimate Fighter Season 1 star and welterweight contender Josh Koscheck hosted a UFC 116 viewing party at Emeril Lagasse’s Stadium in the Palazzo. Fans asked who they should put their money and then cheered when Josh answered “bet on me” as the outcome of his upcoming fight against Georges St-Pierre.
Josh predicted that he would beat GSP in the second round by knockout. He signed autographs, posed for photos and enjoyed dinner there with 20 friends, as heartthrob Glee star Mark Salling stopped by to watch the fights on more than 100 of the HDTVs at Lagasse’s Stadium.
WANDERLEI SILVA AT STUDIO 54
It was a collision of MMA and hip-hop stars at Studio 54 in MGM Grand to celebrate Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva’s birthday. Partygoers dancing to the beats of DJ Skribble cheered for the fighter during the midnight birthday cake presentation onstage. Naughty By Nature performed their hits “Feel Me Flow,” “Hip Hop Hooray” and “O.P.P” as a tribute to the late Tupac Shakur.
Wanderlei hit the red carpet with an entourage that included UFC’s Dan Hardy and Jacob “Stitch” Duran and Xyience spokesmodels Amber Nichole and Amanda Corey. He greeted fans and posed for photos with his wife Tea Silva. Dan walked the red carpet with Elizabeth Holloway, and Stitch was flanked by his two daughters Angela Hunter and Carla Duran.
DOYLE BRUNSON & SHANNA MOAKLER AT BLUSH
Card-playing stars turned out in force for veteran poker prince Doyle Brunson’s World Series of Poker kickoff party at Blush in the Wynn. Doyle was joined by 21-year-old new poker star Daniel Kelly, who won his first bracelet earlier in the day, plus more than $1.3 million. He sat with Doyle and received fanfare from Blush’s model servers with magnums of Dom Perignon.
Also enjoying the festivities was former Miss USA and reality TV star Shanna Moakler, who was joined by Real World: Las Vegas star Trishelle Cannatella. They playfully posed for photos in a Doyle Brunson cutout. Other poker stars enjoying the party included Phil Hellmuth, Todd Brunson, Mike Sexton, Hoyt Corkins, Liv Boeree, Jeff Madsen, Bryan Devonshire and Shaun Deeb.
LMFAO & VIENNA GIRARDI AT THE VENETIAN
In advance of a Single and Fabulous party at Tao Beach in The Venetian later this month, The Bachelor star Vienna Girardi checked out the venue, while LMFAO brought their high-energy stylings to the dayclub. Golfer Anthony Kim also attended. Vienna hit Lavo next door at the Palazzo, where her Hypnotiq party is July 17. Glee stars Mark Salling and Josh Sussman were in the nightclub at side-by-side VIP tables with friends.
Also there, Tapout’s Punkass and Skyskrape, MMA fighters Chris Lytle and Stephen Bonnar and comedian Wayne Brady at a VIP table. Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller dined with friends at Tao, while LMFAO enjoyed signature items underneath the watchful eye of Tao’s Buddha. Checking out DJ Paul Van Dyk at Tao were Entourage’s Rex Lee and Drama from MTV’s Fantasy Factory, while LMFAO took over a dance floor table.
Tapout hosted a bikini model search at Tao Beach with Skyskrape, Punkass and MMA fighter Pat Barry as judges, with MMA fighters Cort McGee and Anthony Johnson, Chris “Birdman” Andersen of the Denver Nuggets and Jukka from The Dudesons rooting for swimsuit stunner Erene Kleoni, who won the contest.
We’ll be back tomorrow with the fourth and final day of star partying when Vegas DeLuxe returns to normal with stories about Celine Dion’s pregnancy and an exclusive story on a major new nightlife makeover of a legendary center Strip casino as it turns into a top-notch, round-the-clock party central hip boutique hotel.
