Celine Dion announces that her twins due in November will be boys

Superstar Celine Dion announced this morning on her Web site that the twins she’s expecting will be boys, just as we wrote on Tuesday. The twin sons are expected the first week of November, and Celine, 42, will move them to her Lake Las Vegas home Feb. 24.

Celine starts rehearsals Feb. 28 for the March 15 first night of her new three-year contract at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace. Celine will perform 70 shows a year timed around her 9-year-old son Rene-Charles’ schooling and schedule.

Celine has been married to manager Rene Angelil, 68, since December 1994. She has said that this was her sixth attempt at an in-vitro pregnancy, and had this failed as all the others did over a year, she would have ended the attempts.

She’s said: “I never gave up, but it was physically and emotionally exhausting.”
