MTV yesterday signed seven members of the Jersey Shore cast, many of them Las Vegas regulars, to Season 3 of the hit reality TV series, with production to begin this weekend in Seaside Heights, N.J., after a salary dispute that sees the cast reportedly earning $30,000 an episode for Season 3, up from $10,000 in Season 2 and $5,000 in Season 1.
Returning with a hefty pay raise: Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, who spins at the Palms; Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino, who’s peddled his share of Couture Pops in town; Jenni “JWoww” Farley, who recently debuted her fashion line at the Palms; Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Vinny Guadagnino.

Angelina “Jolie” Pivarnick, who exited early in Season 1 but was back for Season 2, won’t be back. Season 2 premieres July 29 and is set in Miami.
*The Hard Rock Hotel is celebrating National Tequila Day on Saturday with Casa Noble specials and a raffle giveaway that includes a two-night stay and dinner for two at the casino hotel. To enter, contestants must pick up a stamp card at Rockstar Players Club or participating venues including Johnny Smalls, Ago, Rare 120, Pink Taco, Luxe Bar, Midway Bar, Center Bar and Poker Bar. Four points must be earned to enter. One point is acquired by ordering one shot or one Casa Noble cocktail at any of the locations, with one drink per venue per card.

*Imperial Palace headliner Frank Marino, who’ll be adorned in one of his dazzling Divas of Las Vegas costumes, is signing his new book Dining With the Diva at the Imperial Palace Showroom tomorrow from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Books can be purchased at the box office for $20, with a portion going to Make-a-Wish Foundation.

*Bellaria, a new singing group assembled by EMI/Manhattan Records celebrating Italian-American music and culture, performs at The Venetian Showroom in a one-night-only concert Aug. 4. The program will air in December on more than 350 PBS stations. Evoking memories of crooners such as Frank Sinatra, Connie Francis and Dean Martin, Bellaria’s repertoire includes classic hits, favorites of the 1950s and 1960s Rat Pack, Neapolitan folk songs and opera. Tickets aren’t available for purchase, but a block of tickets will be distributed for free on The Venetian’s Facebook and Twitter pages beginning tomorrow. *Michael Grimm, a contestant in the current season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, released his new album Leave Your Hat On yesterday, and the CD release party is at Ovation Lounge at Green Valley Ranch on Saturday. Doors open at 7 p.m.
*Golden Gaming Inc., operators of PT’s and Sierra Gold, is opening two taverns in Las Vegas next month. PT’s Gold on South Buffalo Drive off 215 at West Sunset Road and an existing property, newly acquired and renovated, to be rebranded PT’s Pub at Craig Road and Decatur Boulevard are expected to create 25 to 35 jobs and open to the public Aug. 31 and Aug. 19, respectively.

*Actor, comedian, writer and producer John Cleese enjoyed drinks last night in the lounge at Strip House in Planet Hollywood. … Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil dined with a friend at Nove Italiano in the Palms last night and then headed to The Playboy Club. Over at Moon, rapper Sied Chahrour, aka Pittsburgh Slim, partied with two friends, performed and mingled with fans. … Lil Jon stopped by the Hard Rock Hotel to dine at Johnny Smalls, party at Rehab during the day and then later at Vanity. He made it to the DJ booth at both hotspots and got the crowd dancing. At Vanity, he held court in the DJ booth with DJ Five. Also at Vanity: Cleveland Cavaliers’ J.J. Hickson and Christian Eyenga, while at Carey Hart’s Wasted Space, MxPx performed.

*The Light Group properties were packed with stars over the weekend. Singer Ke$ha and an entourage of 30 dined at Yellowtail in the Bellagio before heading over to party at The Bank, where she sang along to her hit “Tik Tok.” Alan Anderson of the Charlotte Bobcats also dined at Yellowtail with friends. … TV host and comedian Bill Maher dined nearby at Fix. … Newly single Kelly Osbourne and singer Ray J’s party weekend included Haze in Aria with friends. Kelly also dined at Union and watched Caesars Palace headliner Matt Goss’s show while in town.
